Media reports "mostly peaceful protest".

For some time I have been very dismissive of those asserting that there would be widespread civil unrest or a civil war.

I was wrong. A homeowner will react badly to the destruction of his or her home and get to shooting rioters. That will be used as a premise for widespread racial conflict.

Friends used to wonder why I own quasi-military weaponry. Now they just want to know how I got them. My response is two words.... Too Late.

I am not sure how the concept of peaceful protest works in every State but usually a group of a certain size needs to have a permit to protest. No permit - rioting and looting.

Urge all who will defend themselves to go to the range more often and practice until it becomes instinct. He who hesitates might regret it.

The rule of thumb is - On the property in the leg. In the house in the head.

Do talk to your neighbors.
