Lloyd Blankfein is to the financial meltdown as Hermann Göring is the Nazi party...a major player. I would guess that Free Thinker would have been a defense attorney for the Nazi's at Nuremberg. His defense would go something like, Hey, these guy's are alright in my book. That was then, this is now. Let's just forget the past and move on.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is moving forward with a number of Senate Democrats to invoke the nuclear option. That would end the filibuster in the Senate and allow members to defeat amendments by a simple majority vote rather than the 60 votes needed in the Senate right now. It was only a few years ago that Sen. Reid was calling the filibuster “part of the fabric of this institution we call the Senate.”
