Blackmail material on Trump?

No, you just have a hard time remembering. Your rejection of Russia's complicity in the hacking didn't even allow for a "maybe." You dismissed all allegations out of hand and gave Putin the benefit of the doubt until there was incontrovertible evidence to the contrary. Evidently, you give more benefit of the doubt to Putin than you do to your own countrymen. Unless, of course, you consider Putin your countryman, in which case it all becomes clearer.

Someone did accuse him of being a Russian with the moniker ''Ivanovich'',

he never denied the accusation , at least not to my knowledge.

Ah, didn't realize it was relevant. So let me do so now. I'm a US citizen, born and raised in the NYC area. I've lived in Russia for several years, am married to a Russian (who is now a US Citizen). I speak Russian, and worked there.

This is why I'm more qualified than most of you in speaking to the corruption and oppression of the Russian government, and why I can smell bullshit when someone claims they did something they wouldn't or didn't do. I know all about how Putin "governs" and how Russians see him. I'm quite familiar with the Russian psychological profile - but Putin is not my countryman, and the rodina (родина) is not my motherland.

But it doesn't have anything to do with my insistence on proof when accusations are said to be "true". Make all the editorials you want, but if you say it's true, then show the proof.

That's just complete bullshit. I said many many times that if there was evidence, I would change my opinion. Do you want the links?
And there's evidence that Ricter is now using another handle? Because you're willing to entertain that notion, but not for a moment the "notion" presented by the intelligence community.

Complete bullshit indeed.

Ivanovich was Tsing Tao's previous username when he was a moderator here at ET. All while being a corporate executive, according to him. The first part in undisputed; the second part I'll leave to your judgment to sort through.

No, there's no evidence. That's why I said "maybe".

You just keep on missing the point, or you're getting it just fine but don't want to admit it.

There's no evidence Ricter is another handle. Jem made a guess and I said "maybe you're correct". To say Ricter is the new handle requires proof.

There's no evidence Russia is behind any hacking attempts, so to say it is definite requires proof.

If you want to continue to be intentionally obtuse for the sake of having another flame war, I guess I can accommodate.

All true. Apparently, there's some law against having a full time job and being a moderator in your world, though.
