Very similar ways of trading the forex.
1. Be relentless against the dealer. Never show mercy. Never demonstrate weakness. Never back off. Never let up.
You've got to eat the dealer. (It helps if the dealer is a pretty girl.)
2. Only bet (heavier) when odds are in your favor.
3. Back off quickly when you are losing. Realize you ARE going to lose at times so don't let it screw up your overall equipoise when it happens.
Just remember there are LOTS more hands where the last one came from.
4. Just win A LOT.
5. When the dealer (or market) wins, make it count for as little as possible against you, when you can.
See, the more I win the more money I make. Doesn't really matter that I make HUGE amounts (by increasing my bets) per win. I just focus on winning. And I win two ways - 1. when I beat the dealer; 2. when the dealer blows his own account up.
Plus, there's a few other cards up my sleeve.
Oh yeah, one other thing: I expect to lose... so I trade away from losses.
Most of all - I know I'm a winner.

my 'system,' if you can call it that, is ever-changing, ever-adapting.
I just try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try and try ... and never stop trying. I stay EXTREMELY positive - no matter how much I lose.
I believe that is a key to successful trading as well as a key to life.
I know, from trading in the forex, that a system that works great one day may fail utterly the next.
consequently I have learned to change. change my approach. change my strategy... ever moving... ever flowing.
to me, 21 is much closer to the pure liquidity found currency-trading than equity trading is.
with BJ you got numbers and money.
similar to FX.
well... if I can turn the $1000 into $100,000 then turn that into a million, then I may consider that I have made some real advancements in a game that sounds to me like it is impossible to win at.
but isn't that what most people think about trading forex?

Streaks are not an exact science, no matter how many times they seem to manifest.
It is almost like you are comparing a streak to a "trend" in trading.

seems like in trading, the markets/brokers allow good traders to make money - plenty of them do.
maybe it is not this way in gambling/card playing.

Have you looked into gaming theory at all? Go buy "Bringing down the house" and read it, it's a good start. Not on gaming theory, but it outlines pretty much the most you can squeeze out of blackjack. What you are saying can't be done, would never be allowed to be done, and nothing you've said so far even remotely suggests you have a game theory that's worth anything.
In the off chance that you are serious, listen to the people on the board here. They may sound like they are bashing you, but in the end, they are really trying to save you some money.

You dont believe in streaks? Take a quarter out of your pocket. Flip it til you have 2 heads or 2 tails in a row. You have just witnessed a streak.

So basically, depending on the rules you are playing with(i.e. multiple splits, dealer hit soft 17, etc.), you are looking at a long run house advantage somewhere around 0.25 - 1.00%. You cannot use variance, aka a betting system, to alter this. For more information on strategy and finding out the exact house advantage given X rules, go to www.wizardofodds.com/blackjack. Counting cards is the only way you can "beat" blackjack. This is not possible at online casinos. Online casinos are beatable in other ways as I have stated before.

well, my thought is, losers cannot handle newly-won proceeds.
just look at those who have won lotteries.
many of them are broke after a few years even if they won 10s of millions of dollars.
so, one of the main keys to being successful is knowing what to do with newly-won money.
most people blow up because they do not know what to do with their winnings except to lose them.
I still think I will be successful because I am applying sound trading principles to Blackjack - and, currency trading principles, at that! I'm building on a good foundation.
