i have traded today and i am in the red so far. not ready for fast markets i guess.

Oh my stars. You went long today? One thing I try not to do is pick a buttom in a strong down trending market. Plus when we gapped open this low on the indexs, that was a heads up we would not retrace that gap. Big gaps rarely fill.

Depending on where it goes from here, this may o rmay not go into the active record books (or just be an afterthought day)
 
If this is the beginning of a new bear market, it will be interesting to see the consequences it will have upon the Chinese economy. If it is true, that many of the new chinese middle class are active stock investors, this could have some political consequences...
