What are you looking at to even think their index would be down 500 points?

The real pain won't show up until the market opens Tuesday. Once everyone sees LEH has been run down a large percentage.

Almost no very poor Americans voted for Bush. The only "very poor" people in the richest country on earth are those on welfare, in jail, or homeless - and the few of those who vote are overwhelmingly Democrat supporters.

You are probably referring to working class Americans in the Mid-West and the South - most of whom are not poor at all, let alone very poor. "Poor" in the USA means you only have 1 car and your TV isn't a plasma screen.

All your knowledge and wisdom and assertions (I know stocks, I don't lose) could just now blow up in your face.

What little (paper) gains you may be sitting on may never return with another correction (despite today) upon us.

So make your prediction: what SPX downside target is a level where you deem to take your "guru" butt to another "elite" site?
