I'm literally so wound up I won't be able to sleep tonight.

We are in a free fall, cascade, IMO.

This is surreal. China down 6%+ with curbs in effect possibly?

No doubt I'm in awe. I didn't think we'd sell so hard yet. At this point the spoos are looking at 1366-1380 range Monday or worse....

anyone watch singapore? it was very interesting all night and what was most unusual was that over the last fifteen minutes, there were almost no upticks. bids got hit all the way down at every level for about a 2% slide - no retracements at all along the way.
we'll have to see if it can find some support...

Why they call it BLACK Monday. Racist mo fo's. After all , most of the traders I see on the floor are lilly white .

Not to mention when one says a company is in the BLACK, that is supposed to mean making $$$$$.

Carry trade being unwound as we speak. I've been talkin' about this for more than a year and it's happening tonight. Just friggin' awesome....

any thoughts on where we open monday 9:30 am EST ?

spoos , dow , nas , russell2000 etc

how much lower can we go tonight ?

do you think these markets could ever see another free fall like they did in Oct 1987??

I think curbs would kick in after a 5% drop.

Paulson, scheduled to meet Japan's Omi this evening in Tokyo, yesterday said the U.S. economy is ``healthy'' and downplayed last week's stock slump.

``This meeting will cause a slowdown in dollar-yen selling....

PPT to the rescue. Just in time to intervene. Like on the tube years ago. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
