the neogannchannel in the DJIA is 10477--10543. we are remaining flat oil here, the models are indecisive, not confirming each other hence our flat stance.

shorts entered on break of lower channel figure. holding shorts in DIA overnight into thursday.

So it looks like Hank basically said on the 12th that the models are indecisive, but the channel was 10477 to 10543.

Then on the 13th, Hank said he entered short at 10470 near the break of the channel. He posted this three hours after the market closed. The market closed at 10403, so by the time he posted there was already a 67 point gain.

I suppose a person could have got in short the next day on the 14th, at the market open of 10403.

However what is surely is unclear is the actual call to get short.

Was the short call the one on the 12th where Hank described the channel from 10477 to 10543, but the markets were indecisive? Would you also have entered long if the channel was breached over 10543?

Not criticising, just tryiing to understand.

PS: BTW, it appears the ET post times I have as quoted above is Mountain time, so add 2 hours to the ET time above to get NY time.

yes, in the above scenerio, if 10543 was broken by the 3 minute parameter, longs would be entered.... likewise when 10477 breaks to the downside,by system paramters, shorts are entered.

i can only post the parameters of my system, when i will enter a trade before the fact------ not the actual entry time--hope this makes sense
