Black Monday

But I am willing to bet my life that you did not download several intraday time series, create a weighted basket, calculated returns and derived the return calculation in 7 minutes.

LOL I did not wait for you to do that. This is part of my job, so I knew the numbers before your bs post.

so what are your numbers?

I’m not gonna share confidental work that belongs to my employer, but since all the raw data is publicly available, I’m sure you can do it yourself. All I can say is that it is neither 90% or 100%.

confidential work? Correlations between intra day data of publicly traded indexes? People, when you read such things you should think twice or more often whether you want to engage with such individual. At first he did not even know how to calculate such correlations, suddenly he has the numbers and they are proprietary. Hilarious. Dude, you made it on my ignore list. Thanks for saving more of my time.

I really beg Baron to make this site a paid subscription. I would pay 50 dollars a month to chat with only those who can afford to pay up. It would save a lot of time.

what are you talking about. Greece implemented full bank capital controls already, so this is yesterday's news. Of course the market fully digested this news already.

Seems fluid, requiring constant monitoring , evaluation and possibly adjusting ones position.
Im thinking Cypress but maybe the ECB cap is sufficient to guarantee solvency. No?
Seems to me that Greece can default again and, the can can still be kicked,
but the banks may be a bigger immediate concern.
