The guy left all kinds of writings and a video saying he wanted to start a race war. How does that have anything to do with a workplace killing by a disgruntled former employee? The killer was the one who made it racial.

The thing people are pointing out here is that this was clearly a racial hate crime, yet the only response from liberals or the racial grievance industry has been their all purpose demand for more gun control.

If it's legitimate to blame the Confederate flag for the Roof shootings and demand its abolishment, then we can say that affirmative action is to blame for these killings and demand its termination. It's just so dangerous to put unqualified blacks into an environment where they can't hack it. Inevitably, some of them will snap. If we could save just one innocent life, wouldn't ending affirmative action be worth it? Are you willing to tell the parents of a dead child that their child had to die to preserve affirmative action?

It appears he had multiple explanations, but in the end he killed only co-workers. If it were really about a race war he could have gone and shot up any random "white" church, etc.

Another example of "words don't mean anything".... It's all up to interpretation.

The guy publicly announces it's in retaliation to a "race" related event, but that doesn't fit the current leftist narrative and agenda... So it has to be about guns.

All his stated motives have been clearly reported in the mainstream media. Gun control comes up with every illegal shooting, and has for decades.
