I’m struggling to understand what is driving the price of Bitcoin up besides the high demand. I was thinking it was going up because people might be getting worried about dollar depreciation but it seems like everyone just wants it because big investors and others are talking about it. Should I stay away because it could be reaching its apex and has no physical backing or should I consider trading it? Thanks

I'm struggling to understand why anything else besides supply and demand drives the price of any asset. Gold is just a useless shiny metal unless somebody pays you dollar for it.
Tesla shares are just participation certificates, they don't even pay dividends. But somebody else pays you nicely for a number you can see in your bank account.
There are mining companies out there that are valued 1/5th of their claim...but since nobody knows them, nobody buys their shares
