When is the last time that occurred ?Investing in btc is the best option today...........no banker will come to steal our savings.
When is the last time that occurred ?
Why in the heck did the CBOE initiate Bitcoin FUTURES and not Bitcoin OPTIONS ?
Uh....aren't they the world's largest OPTION exchange ?
And why are they front-running the CME Group's Bitcoin futures offering ?
I understand that Bitcoin options are offered on other exchanges like LedgerX...but I would not trust that crumby exchange.
I think the CME Group will get the majority of the activity once their Bitcoin futures contract is established.
Really ? The issue remains a mystery...Why did the CBOE go the futures route instead of the options route which is their predominant trading vehicle...especially knowing that the CME Group would likely roll-out competitive futures contracts for Bitcoin ?If you have to ask that question then you need to firm up your understanding of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin options trading in the U.S.
After months of lobbying, Bitcoin options are soon to be legal in the U.S. On October 2, 2017, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced the approval of LedgerX for clearing derivatives. LedgerX, a digital-currency platform, announced in May it had raised $11.4 million via its parent company Ledger Holdings in the hope the CFTC decision would rule in its favor, which it did. "A U.S. federally-regulated venue for derivative contracts settling in digital currencies opens the market to a much larger customer base," Paul Chou, LedgerX CEO said in a press release.
Firm up understanding of bitcoin? I doubt if anyone really understands bitcoin in the first place! If you have to ask that question then you need to firm up your understanding of Bitcoin.

Sounds like someone in the CFTC had a relative or friend as a principal in LedgerX...LOL
We are not naysayers to new technology , surely something new and evolved may come out from this , we are naysayers to current bubble in prices , big difference .
