Bitcoin thread anyone?

I agree with this. Ask 100 random people, maybe 5 have heard of it. At school, when I talk about BTC, maybe 1 out of 20 have heard about it. That is 19-30 age range. I think we have a long ways to go higher.

Also, "authoritative" bears continue to come out of the woodwork calling it a bubble and urging caution. When its bubbled out, the authoritative bulls will be coming out all over declaring this time its different and still safe to buy.

1 out of 20 is pretty high ask them what a ETF is.

is there a chart of how bitcoins are mined per day. Maybe there has been a drop and mining was just a fad to start off with.

Do we have any data on where these trasactions were done. It would be nice to see if cyprus.....

I cant write . im going to puke .  :(

That would be a signal to start selling. but dont take my word for it, I don't have a taxi license.

Id laugh so hard if taxi drivers ran the economy and shorted things they talk about !

Please put in to perspective.

It says there were no fees, and mentions that if you are willing to wait you dont have to pay fees.

to me, this is like a limit order.

that means that.. some one was trailing with a big limit order This could mean that he was always trailing with a big limit order. and that was the support being moved up. ?

now some one sold a huge amount and filled part of his order without effecting price assuming price is steady ?

I personally think it's always a good time to buy. Once a month, done well for me so far, but I know I could lose 75%+ in the next month. I am prepared to buy as much as I can on the next crash.

atticus,

when will you buy back into BTC? we need your kind of money in this market to keep the train moving.

I should have held half. Ugh, I can't conceive of a price that I'd buy-in again. If it drops to 120 it's taken a 50% haircut (and would signal doom) and I'd rather buy GRPN than buy at these prices. Good job staying with it as you've gotta be up six-figures now. I would consider scaling out a bit, no?

I've done well for having no job really and being in school. I was sick for 2 years before that, so I really haven't had much income or anything fun to do with much cash. I'll probably sell a few (literally) and fly to vegas or something and get a hooker. Maybe some blow, if I'm lucky. My life sucks with luck, so I am having the best time possible now as I can.

I think we continue higher, but coins are really expensive. I couldn't imagine buying in for the first time at $233.00 a coin. Unreal.
