Bitcoin stocks thread: MARA RIOT EBON BTBT

Yes! If you’re a day trader and went long just after the open then not late to the party. Unfortunately MARA and RIOT both not shortable with IB when I needed, had to make do with some out of EBON and SOS instead.

Well, I already did. In fact, I have been long both RIOT and MARA from the 18-20s range. I sold a hell lot of cash secured puts and covered calls in the last 6 weeks, some expired and others expire in like 1-2 weeks time from now.

I don't believe IV will immediately go down, in fact, I believe it will go up. This is why I started buying options now, not selling premiums anymore.

Obviously, the options are miss-priced IV wise for sure. Market Makers models are under-estimating the Vol according to my rationale.

Looking for advice after a frustrating day! I use IB and again today MARA and RIOT are showing as not shortable, a red dot on the order entry window. But to make it much worse I nailed the tops in CLPS and LODE only to get the ‘ we are looking for stock ‘ message. Clearly in a fast moving mkt I just hit cancel and between the 2 missed out on around $6. I am used to trading futs and trading whichever way I want, it appears in stocks I need a long bias or maybe find a closely correlated stock that is shortable! Help appreciated, cheers
