Bitcoin Price Thread

I think Bitcoin has topped.

You said that a few months ago when bitcoin was below $50k and were making fun of Rick Astley...

How many times you're going to say that?

I'm not a quant, but I am telling you right now

, put all your life savings into bitcoin and live below your means, because Bitcoin will go up forever over $10,000,000/btc. That's US $

YES THIS IS FINANCIAL ADVISE FOR PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT NEED TO WAKE UP!!!!

Here's mathematical proof that bitcoin will go over $800,000 US $ in the next 2-3 years

Average growth rate is well and good, but the trajectory after each successive halving has been dropping (in that tweet graphic).

Why wouldn't number 4 be lower than 3, which was lower than 2, which was lower than 1?

I'm not so sure gold will be dying here. With many more nations coming forward to join BRICs, and those nations also currently buying up gold in large amounts, I think some of these tweets are overly optimistic.

While I agree the death of the dollar is a forgone conclusion... the new gold-backed world currency will be a large kink in Bitcoin's armor.

The previous cycle had price suppression when the likes of FTX/Alameda, Genesis, Voyager, BlockFi, Celsius and others sold bitcoins that belonged to their customers

This cycle, the bitcoin spot etf's led by Blackrock IBIT and Fidelity FBTC are buying massive amounts of bitcoins and breaking every ETF record since the ETF's were invented 30 years ago

Hong Kong just approved their bitcoin spot etf's in-kind and once the word spread to the Chinese investors that are buying gold because real estate and Chinese stock market and Chinese economy are crashing, that will be a very good amount of buying of bitcoins

This cycle may far exceed the returns of the previous cycle

[The disclosure on who's buying the bitcoin spot etf's already show there are banks that are investing, the next disclosure(s) if AAPL or GOOG show up, may cause some panic among others]

Yes maybe.

Yes maybe.

Much higher probability of multiple hundreds of percent even over 1000% returns versus downside risks with bitcoin priced at $65k

It's a very good asymmetric investment for the next 2 years

But I can already see it, we just got lucky

Looks like even Hong Kong gets spot-Ethereum ETFs before backwards Americans do. :D
While May 23 is the final deadline for some Ethereum ETF applications, Blackrock's final deadline decision date is August 7 and that sounds like a decent possibility. I don't expect any approvals May 23.
