I've got him on mute in my twitter feed because he's made one asinine statement after another. But he's smart to always be provocative as that gets him on all the financial channels. Good for him, but I'm not interested in his nonsense.I got my first dose of Peter Schiff today... WHAT.A.MORON.
I think Bitcoin has topped. From 5 March to 5 April(or thereabout) they printed $10B of Tether, yet the price failed to go higher.
On every dip they print more Tether and try to hold the price up.
Bitcoin dominance is quite high. Since Bitcoin is getting hard to pump, the natural thing next might be to pump shitcoins (like dogecoin).
In the meantime Bitcoin continues to be distributed and shorted heavily on CME.
We are running on borrowed time though, because eventually they are going to crack down on the Tether fraud, taking down the entire market.
Bitcoin on CME are futures. For every short, there's a long (zero sum game). Could just as easily say that Bitcoin continues to be bought heavily on CME.In the meantime Bitcoin continues to be distributed and shorted heavily on CME.
Price, volume and open interest needs to be looked at synergistically.
If price is down but volume and OI are both up that is bearish but
if price is down but volume and OI are also both down that is bullish and finally
if price is down with volume up but OI down that is neutral.
