C'mon, be true to yourself for once. You don't give a crap about all those things that you complain about. Those are just cop-outs. Only thing you care about is the $money$. Otherwise, why are you so obsessed with Bitcoin going up to $1M?

I've seen a lot of greedy traders throughout my trading career, but you Bitcoiners are by far the most greedy MOFOs. Not only that, you try to cover up your greed with nonstop excuses of noble shit. But enough said.

You will just have to take my word for it.

Listen, if you look around and see so many things going to shit, so many people struggling, you have to wonder why its all happening. Birth rate is heavily down because nobody can afford kids. Women go crazy when they don't have families. The entire economy is financialized because nobody cares about actually doing something useful or something they love, but simply to make enough money to survive. I won't even bore you with the war angle.

The point is that all of these things are happening because money is broken. There will be no prospering for people until this is fixed. The sooner bitcoin hits 1m, the sooner that the whole system actually breaks. If I was in my retirement years, I would be scared shitless right now. Do you really think there will be the quality of care for old people in the next 5 to 10 years when the young people who should be looking after them are too busy trying to survive? Do you not think there will be a huge societal backlash against the boomers with all the wealth? Rich people can only enjoy their wealth if they live in a stable society, and that is quickly slipping away. The nurse who should be feeding you will instead be too busy rummaging through your personal belongings trying to steal whatever she can sell.

I'm sorry you feel this way about bitcoiners, and it honestly pushes me more towards John's lack of patience with you. I'm honestly shocked you don't see it, that you can't put all the pieces together.

I'll step up to the challenge.
Imo, Bitcoin/crypto lovers are cultish, obsessive. I've seen the same behaviour with gold bugs, they rant on forever about this huge massive run it will make.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Gold is now doing a 'massive' run and gold bugs will say 'told you so', but they'll ignore the years of it treading water or falling.

The government: Another anology.
Currently we have a war in Israel/Gaza.
The government cries, "Stop the fighting....." while simultaneously providing bunker buster bombs, missiles, aircraft, money etc. The government cannot be trusted to be honest.
Power belongs to those with the most money.

Bitcoin:
The government will want to fuck it up, guaranteed!
The govenment will imo collude with Blackrock and the likes to drive the price down via control of the money via ETF's.
The government hates not being in control.
The government will probably make an announcement sometime in the future they are creating their own digital currency.

Cultism.
Imo it doesn't pay to have very strong beliefs in anything.
Humans are flawed and frequently wrong.
If you have strong beliefs, often that leaves you trapped in a locked position.
If you have a flexible mind that allows you to more easily take advantage of a weather change in circumstances.

Being married to Bitcoin is virtually the same as buy and hold and my experience buy&hold returns on tradeable goods are not that spectacular unless you're lucky.
Trading too though is difficult and requires skill, mainly due to volatility and fake signals.

I prefer to trade, my son prefers buy and hold even though I've attempted to mentor in trading.

It's a tricky situation, but don't underestimate government and big money to fuckup Bitcoin.

What is it that you don't understand? You're always coming back with the same excuses. Let me start by saying:

All those problems you mentioned have NOTHING to do with Bitcoin. I admit they're inconveniences. But they will not go away just because you invest in Bitcoin.

Hence your logic is completely flawed. You're using STRAWMAN'S FALLACY to bolster your argument (look it up if you don't know what that is). But the truth is you're merely using all these endless excuses to hype up Bitcoin in the hopes of getting rich in the end.

Why can't you just admit that you're in it for the money? There's nothing wrong with that and I have no issue with that. And yet, you keep sugarcoating the laurels of Bitcoin with these totally irrelevant facts.

In closing, let me suggest you man up and take responsibility. You don't see me touting ES as the greatest investment every time I go long. Nor do you see me blame my loss on someone or something else when I get stopped out. If you're gonna invest in Bitcoin, then do it like a pro, and not some amateur who need to stoke his ego by constantly proving that his investment was the right choice.

(Seriously, all these army of Bitcoin propaganda trolls I see on social media are no different from those Chinese internet trolls on Youtube--always hyping up bitcoin.)
