My guess is Barchart didn't account for the large dividends distributed by BITO the last few months. I think since March BITO has distributed like 10-11% of dividends. Most likely there is no material difference if you add back the dividends.

Edit: Since Feb 1 BITO has distributed $2.22 in dividends which equals 13.9% in dividends given its current price of $15.95.

That aside, Canada is one of the most crypto-positive nations (for now). This is one of the reasons I bought ownership of BitFarms Inc. For the most part, I am very negative toward bit-coin miners, but if you're going to diversify, Canadian-owned miners often have great tax breaks and other benefits in that genre, unlike the 30% additional taxes Biden likes to impose across the border for things pertaining to the asset.

Ok @ph1l .. I finally got around to wanting to watch this video, but just as it was loading up, I decided to check out his other videos. 511k subs is impressive, but as I scanned the video titles, here is what I saw going months back....

Even 7 months ago.... that Bitcoin collapse was... drum roll please... once again, still coming! And lets keep in mind, 7 months ago, call it January, price was just starting the rally from 16 or 17k.

So excuse me if I don't actually waste 25 minutes watching the video linked. It honestly amazes me how every single video is the same. Who the fuck subscribes to this channel? I'm all for a balanced bear thesis, and I'm for sure all for technical analysis and trying to figure out what the price is telling us, but this guy is on a mission with only one objective.

Reminds me of a guy on another website forum I used to visit. His market predictions were so consistently wrong, I'm sure you could have made money doing the opposite. He described himself as a contrarian. Bitcoin was his favourite poison too.

The funny thing about bears is (in any instrument), is that they will always see nothing but doom and gloom on any given Sunday, and every market move up must always come crashing down.

There are people out there calling this market a bubble, and for equities to crash back to October lows. Back in October they said markets were going to COVID lows. During COVID they said they were going to 2008 lows. I dunno' what they were saying in 2008, but surely they were thinking 1987 lows.

Bears are never wrong in their minds because the market always has a chance to go down back to a bear market. When the market goes down into a bear market, they declare victory and say "I told you so, you didn't listen". When the market becomes a new bull market, the bears say the market is too expensive and must crash again.

That asshole in those videos reads just like one of them based on his video titles you posted. The world would be much better off without people like him scaring people away from an asset because no matter what price it is at, on any given day, it MUST be ready to crash.

That is the way of the bear. We have a few of them on ET as well, as I am sure you have noticed.[/user]

That reminds me of Andre Jik, on Youtube. I think every single one of his paid promoters ended up going bust... and he cost his followers nothing but losses. From Celsius to FTX and every other bloke in between.

He's still making vids on his main channel and shows off some card tricks to pimp for views, but one of his others I believe he sheepishly shut down.... something to do with young millennial gurus. Another disaster that didn't end well.
