I am currently long equities futures today, hopefully there wont be a sell off going into todays close.
I cant buy crypto futures, IB wont let me as i'm from the UK and its banned for retail. But i am wondering why no one is admitting to buying this crypto dip, as maybe there will be another bounce from here?

Trend is your friend. The free money train to the Land of Hopes and Dreams derailed awhile ago when all the moving averages broke down.
I will be buying 3 btc's starting today
I was out of town this weekend, so the vacation $ cost is less than my $ savings in buying btc's today vs buying a few days ago
Completed the purchase of 3 btc's, Total of 18 btc holdings in the crypto pfolio
10 btc's are for long term with no plans to sell them until at least 5 years from now, depending on the price, maybe will only need to sell 1 btc at $500K+ in 5 years
End of August, may sell 1-2 btc's and eoy/early next year, may sell more btc's if we hit certain price levels, i.e. sell at $100K, another sell at $150K and $200K and so forth...
If btc does not go on a bull market parabolic move later in the year and instead goes down to $10K or below, may just hold all btc's and not sell until the next bull market cycle which could take years
It's great to hold bitcoin as there's no carrying costs other than always taking care of security. Holding bitcoin and other cryptos is like holding call options that never expire, unless something catastrophic happen to the bitcoin network or with legal status

People who have made a lot of $$$ in bitcoin and cryptos did not get lucky. They held through the ups and downs
I could have sold all at $100K valuation, an amount I never imagined I would ever be able to acquire
I could have sold all at $500K valuation, but still I was 100% of net worth invested in bitcoin and cryptos when I reached this level
I could have sold all at $1M valuation, wtf, all my life I've been in debt and just assumed I'd grow old and die poor
It's true, I'm not 100% net worth invested in bitcoin and cryptos now, but still hold a significant amount of our net worth in it
I highly recommend the book "The Bitcoin Standard" to any crypto skeptic
