Friend of mine built a bit coin mining computer setup
He gave me the schematics to build a $10,000 system that makes $1800-2000/month mining... but I have a feeling by the time that setup pays for itself, that it will be outlawed, lol

Too hesitant to do anything related to Bitcoin

Break-even in five months...that's considered excellent.
Most, traditional, business ventures takes five years to break-even on your initial capital layout.

Worst case scenario for you, you make no money...and sell all that stuff back on eBay to instantly recoup 70% of its cost.

But don't forget, the graphics cards are the brunt of the cost.. I mean, graphics cards went from $700 each to over $2200 each because of this boom. You have 5 of those and then the rest of parts arent much $$... So, when this whole thing implodes, those USED graphics cards prob come down to $300 each after you sell them.. When I make an investment, I dont want to just make my money back or almost back, I want atleast double and more the profit. Like my ATM Machines or other vending equipment. I wish i got into bitcoin a while ago, but thisthing reminds me of the RE Market in 2006/7. You buy too late, and kaboom! You look like Wiley Coyote after your ACME Jetpack blows up..
