Bitcoin Price Thread

He cashed out a significant portion of his holdings as he has said he's quite old. He announced the liquidation and got criticized for it.

Yea, we know :D YOU have told us many time$$$ and you keep reminding us, just in case we forget. We're just so fortunate you find time to keep posting here in cryptos' forum even if you have no plans to ever touch it
Hoi is 22 yrs old.

Anyhow, let's go back to the price discussion. LOD is $8821 and no bottom in sight.

Also, ETH doubled in price against BTC in the last 30 days. Maybe, just maybe the market is actually rewarding the technically superior. Wouldn't that feel strange???

The great meltdown , as predicted by me , continues.

What 450 billion in mkt cap ( fake $ to begin with) poof.

The Cryptiots, they are getting quieter by the minute.

Its all a pink sheet scam. ZERO is the target

GBTC, I hear ETRADE would not let customers trade till today after the split

How criminal is that?

Better you than me ,as they say.

And impossible to short , so they sat there , watching their money just die.

I tried shorting it....can't do it...yet some talking head in cnbc said he was short on it....how others can find ways to short investment vehicles such as this and others cannot is mind boggling.

Bitcoin drops below key $9,000 level on Coinbase
  • The decline followed reports that raised worries about increased regulation in India and potential price manipulation at a major exchange.
  • Fundstrat's Tom Lee, the only major Wall Street strategist to issue formal price targets on bitcoin, said two weeks ago that $9,000 is a "major low" for bitcoin and "the biggest buying opportunity in 2018."
  • The $9,000 to $10,000 price range has been a difficult one for bitcoin to break below since first topping $10,000 in late November.

It is hypocritical to post/advice that people should hold or even buy at 17K while you are selling yourself. It is to me pump and dump.
I started to warn people after the bitcoin skyrocketed. For me it was clear that later the correction would hurt a lot of people. That's what is happening now.
That was/is my only concern, and the only reason why I posted here.

Damn if you do (sell), and damn if you don't (sell as you're stupid to hold). :banghead:

As per advice, the critics have been the ones that have been giving unsolicited ones constantly. All I can say is that if a person actually puts a position based on what he reads on a forum, he/she probably shouldn't be trading/investing.

I have been encouraging the critics to short the bitcoin futures because I feel you need to have skin in the game same as the cryptos holders. Talk is cheap.

Speaking of advice, here's a very good one when bitcoin price was below $1400, give or take

Simple. Trash this absurd overpriced nonsense, back to zero.

Do it right and for small money.
