Every EM central bank should be worried. It's a perfect tool to circumvent capital controls and/or avoid currency devaluation.

What exchange is that? For CME futures (exchange for NQ and ES) Bitcoin margin is massively more than the indexes.

I am talking about bitcoin from CFE exchange .

margin for NQ and ES (CME product) is about $4k,
and XBT (CFE product) about $7k

Aren't one of these contract BTC X 5 ? 14k x 5 x 30%. Not sure though.

Edit...I misread your post. I'm comparing BTC only cboe and cme.

Also, I think many investors (me included) are looking at ways to play the block chain tecnology/infrastructure as opposed to a individual "currency". In last nights/today's bloodbath a number of these companies held up quite well.

Serious question: Do you know what blockchain is and how it works?

It's not necessary to know what it is in order to invest in it, but people seem to throw that term around (i.e. IBM is going to use it or banks are going to use it and it's over for cryptos/bitcoin).

I do but only to a certain level. That is why I'm invested in companies (MGTI) specific to block chain development, BTC mining and security. I have no clue as to where the price of BTC going, but I think there is merit in the technology that spawned it and it's alts.

Also: these are a SMALL % of my portfolio.
