Bitcoin Price Thread

Welcome to the 14,000's again! 5K dump in less than a few days. 13,700 as I pointed out at 19K on track before Sunday. Updated we should hit 13,500. I was a little off. 13,500 folds and the rug gets pulled down to 9700. NO support till 6K area.
 
Litcoin imploding now lost key 290. No support till 100. Retail, you been burned. This is just the start of the dump, yet I'm hearing retail fools saying this dip is a gift. Price action is universal be it stocks or whatever other asset.
 
Those BTC futures shorters are happy, if any are there. $20K per contract in the green now. Next week's CoT report shall be fun to look at.

Oh I agree.....and I know the top is near because people I'm talking to on a daily basis who didn't know what cryptocurrency was 2 months ago or even how to trade a stock are getting in.....it's quite ridiculous.

This girl I work with bought it at $330 or so....I said good luck.....I told her the CEO said his coin was well above the price he could even imagine it could be and he sold all his coins just recently on the run up... I said I'll see you when litecoin is back under $100

Assuming that people actually educate themselves (I know, a big if) I doubt it will go higher or if so not by much. Probably momentum still carries it for 2-3 months, but after that technology should win and bitcoin becomes a thing of the past giving place to the alt coins. With arbitrage, the futures should make it less volatile thus less exciting. Also futures let money pour into somewhere else, not directly into bitcoin.

The others should do a concentrated effort to educate the public about their existence. Most people still only know about bitcoin.

I'm a bit more optimistic....I think futures trading will reign in the volatility substantially and would be ambivalent to call double the price by end of 2018. Lightstream network could push it that way I think.
 
Another day another company who doesn't know anything about block chain or cryptocurrency because they sell fu$king ice tea is now surging because they are going to change their name....

Wake the FU$k people... this is a fu$king bubble....do you not see what's happening...a company that sells ice fu$king tea Is changing it's name to get in on the hype.....if this doesn't signal a bubble than I don't know what does!!!!

  • Shares soar 200 percent, although the company says it's only in the "preliminary stages" of evaluating potential business opportunitiesin blockchain.
  • The company said it's still going to make iced tea and other juice beverages. As of Wednesday, it had a market value of just $23.8 million.
 
I am going to start a fund: the blockchain & bitcoin fund.
Activity: none.
Purpose: pump up stock price and sell the empty box at a horrible expensive price.
