Bitcoin Price Thread

Speaking of El Salvador's legislation though, Panama has also decided to legalize the use of cryptocurrencies within their jurisdiction, but unlike El Salvador, they are not making the use of cryptos mandatory. Do you think it will go better there?

This is great! More countries that adopt bitcoin, even if it's optional, the better it is for bitcoin

More counties will follow. The Kingdom of Tonga has been very active on CT and working on adopting bitcoin as legal tender in the country

I was just wondering what would be the next country to do so. If two have done it so far, a third will follow sooner or later.

All South American countries as the drug cartels will benefit from it. Good for their business. Drugs mafia puts probably a lot of pressure on the government, or just bribe them. And kill them if they don't obey.

What will happen if these countries have to pay back international loans in fiat money, and when BTC is crashing? BTC countries will have very bad ratings at Moody's or S&P. In other words they will not get any credit anymore.

Well.
If people don't take drugs (other than for medical reasons),
then the world will be very different.

That's what I have been wondering about. You tie their economies to a currency that fluctuates as wildly as BTC does.
