Bitcoin Price Thread

Please do not say you replaced that car with a Tesla.

I bought the Tesla in February but delivery took longer than 6 weeks :D

I'm a computer technician at heart, had to buy the Tesla for the cool tech stuff, I use the adaptive cruise control and autopilot often. I think it's great, but ymmv

$50k
Bitcoin rose above $50,000 for the first time since May as cryptocurrencies continue their recovery from the rout that saw the original digital token drop below $30,000 a little over a month ago. As the old saying goes, there's nothing like price to change sentiment, so predictions of Bitcoin $100k are back in vogue. The rise of the asset has pushed through some technical levels, adding to bullish sentiment, while Paypal Inc.’s decision to allow U.K. customers make crypto transactions is also helping.

Not sure if this is what you meant but I opened a synthetic long position on AMD call options Jan/2022 last week when stock was ~$82sh

Just an update. Sold to close AMD call options last week (not the best timing, but...). More tax obligations I did not want to incur, but tapering risks negated part of the reasoning for the position

Anyway, the profits ~$31K were rolled into MSTR calls Jan/2022

I believe MSTR is undervalued given the value of their bitcoin holdings. We shall see

I don't believe in diversification (out of bitcoin)

Last month, If we put $28K on good bank we earn about $28, If we put $28K on Bitcoin we earn $22K by Today:cool::cool:

well. agree.

this is also possible:
Last month, If we put $28K on ABC, we would lost about $28.

If we put $28K on xyz, we would lost $22K by Today

Heads up, I got the emergency email from Willy Woo that on-chain analytics is signaling a price correction, unfortunately did not see it until now as it was in the "promotion" section of my inbox

Price of btc when email was received was low $49K, current price of btc is mid $47K. I'm on the fence whether to sell a couple of btc's or just ride it out hoping btc does not go below $40K on this pullback

I cannot share the email (paid subscription) but below is a youtube video discussing the gist of the email
