From a Reddit post:
"Actually, on Bitfinex, in the 24 hours up to 23:00 UTC, it jumped from ~$175 to $400 (a 230% increase).
On Poloniex the jump was more modest, from ~$175 to ~$340.
But it is still pumping on both.
My theory is that Calvin and/or many other people saw the last filing by Craig as proof that he is Satoshi, and hence that BSV is the true bitcoin. So they spent lots of new money (in the form of USDT, chiefly on Bitfinex) to buy BSV, driving its price up by 230%.
Then those who sold their BSV used the USDT they received to buy other coins, driving their price up too. And arbitragers, as usual, propagated those increases to other exchanges.
Some evidence for this theory is that the coin that gained the most, after BSV, was its sister BCH (the other "big block bitcoin"), that is now up about 30%. And the coin that rose the least -- about as much as DOGE -- was BTC, the "small block bitcoin". Obviously, if Craig is Satoshi, then BTC must be garbage, as Craig has been saying all along..."
