The whole break down started with the BCH fork and fear about 51% attacks between the 2 fractions. Interesting read the technicals and manipulators behind the scene...
 
read my past predictions... the space is getting close to about $100b, which I thought was about fair value... but the downward momentum can easily over-shoot to $50b...

$50-100b is about fair value for a technology in this stage... promising, but virtually no real world use.

In 2017 Novogratz predicted $45,000 for the bitcoin end of 2018.

In september 2018 he told that the bottom was in.
Investment mogul and Bitcoin bull Mike Novogratz has stated his belief cryptocurrency markets have reversed for good as BTC/USD hits $6630 September 21.
“Bitcoin has held $6,000. Yes, it is off its highs, but it has established itself as a store of (negative LOL) value,” he said.

On Oktober, 5 he told that we did not break the $6,000 bottom.

He sees a 30% rally by year end, but that was when the bitcoin was at $6,640. Today we are at $4,300, so the rally should not be 30% but 100%.

It is clear that he is losing lots of money and wants to pump and dump. Like all the big whales.

honestly speaking this was how I think and how I traded decades ago.
I traded based on Hope.
When price went down alot, I felt that it was dirt cheap and went to do averaging,
and I felt price would skyrocket to the moon soon.

at least I learnt not to read the chart upside down.

who knows BTC might hit 3 digits soon follow by 2 digits. but I guess 4 digit 1000 will be a support at least for a moment
