Bitcoin is now predicted to go to 10M within 10 years...

That's a pretty dumb statement, do you realize that? And that's why I feel a lot of you guys here are just utter and pure shills.

Price appreciation from 20k to 10m: 49,900% increase
Price appreciation from 43k to 10m: 23, 100% increase

In both cases you won the lottery. And I call it lottery because it probably features similar probabilities of reaching to 10m than a lottery ticket.

When you consider all the facts, there is a good chance this can happen. I just feel bad for anyone who doubted Bitcoin while it was under 20K.

I agree. Bitcoin will be 10,000 by 2028.

Excuse me, but did you read the article? I believe it said millions not thousands.

Sir, can you just hear me out for a minute. The article said that over 7million coins are lost, so now the price of each coin has the potential of reaching 10 million, not to mention more institutions still haven't even begun to invest. That statement is not out of the cards, just because you hate Bitcoin is no reason to say everything about it is false

The master shill @johnarb informs us every day of the big boys hopping on board and yet the needle has not moved an inch for months. But hey, I am sure some come up with a new way to hype this crap. Like half of all btc got electrocuted.

Wait, I know how it's gonna play out: the top echelon are first gonna buy themselves in, and then all of a sudden the SEC and FED change their stance and adopt and embrace btc. That's how it always worked there: it's called front running. Otherwise why would guys like Bridgewater dabble in btc. Irrelevant positions on a fund basis but potentially sweet payoff for the individual when the Sec or Fed or both combined decide on the unthinkable.

Excuse me, but did you read the article? I believe it said millions not thousands.

Didn't they say bitcoin was going to 500k by 2022-2025 or something.

Not believing a single word from these shitty articles esp ones coming from clown analysts with their own agenda.

I already won the lottery and I still play it. Anyone who is into crypto can't do math. It is lottery that gives you the best odds for a good life. DCA works with lottery too, I put 500 bucks every week into lottery tickets.

Since I like increasing the odds, I also diversify. State lottery, Mega Millions, hell even church bingo, I play them ALL! It has already given me gazillion % returns and it still WILL!

Keep on scratching!

There are unintended consequences of big moves in crypto. Look, I have long exposure to bitcoin currently and think we hit a nice bottom recently but I can envision that most governments / central banks will eventually be fighting against current cryptos so, for me, this is just a trend following / momentum game. Again, separate the technology from the underlying "asset" and admit that no one really knows where this is going but you want to be holding it when it's going up.

and some predicted

Bitcoin will be the mother-of-all-tulipmania.

Instead of bitcoin going from 5 digits to 6 to 7 to 8 digits,

it will go from

5 digits to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1 digit in 10 years.

< 1 is where it belongs.

We get it your a super BTC hater, but you also (obviously) completely missed all of this. Painfully obvious.

I think price predictions for the most part are dumb (and ironically Im a wall street sell-side analyst). So saying BTC will go to 10MM when we can't even get to 100k yet is a bit much buuuuttt comparing BTC to lottery tickets is possibly even dumber.

Does the lottery give you a 2 Sharpe ratio with 150% annualized returns for 10 years? I didn't think so.
