Typical stalking troll post above ^

If the power goes out, I'll still be able to use cash to buy things.

Oooohhhh did @Overnight get her panties tangled up in a bunch? Why so defensive?

Answer the question: how do you plan on posting here on ET when the internet is down?

Not go off on a tangent about how you are buying things with cash.

Mind if I take a swing at that one?

I presume what you really mean is "how does bitcoin work with no grid or maybe no internet?". Something like that?

Its unlikely that the entire world would simultaneously lose internet or experience loss of the power grid. Somewhere a BTC node will have the entire blockchain and some remaining miners would be verifying transactions. Bitcoin would likely survive anything short of an extinction level event after which nobody will be concerned with the value of their BTC anyway.

Over time what is clear to me is that the BTC developer(s) did not design to be the most efficient transfer of value or the most efficient store of value. The incredible power of BTC they sought seems to be just an unkillable and uncorruptable ledger.

Not looking strong that's for sure, looks like a new recent low but it's still above US$47000 which I would use as support.

In a world with no grid or internet, Bitcoin or posting on ET or tech stocks won't matter. That is what I mean. People who criticize crypto for relying on the internet while they themselves post on an internet forum, well to call them retarded would be an insult to retards.

There are those who say an unkillable and uncorruptable ledger has value in a world with a grid and internet. There are those who say it doesn't.
