lol Even Warren Buffett said he hates bitcoin but wouldn't short a nickels worth. Wished he could buy a 5 year put though...
Perhaps it's not worth shorting a volatile instrument which can result in some crazy price action near the top.

None of your questions are relevant to the issue of store of value here. An asset that fluctuates 10, 20, 30% within hours on a regular basis is NOT a store of value. Period. Case closed.
Again some of us in here think our own opinion is the only opinion that matters....
