If this thread can prevent at least 1 rookie investor from jumping out the window because he or she bought bitcoin at the top and it then was to lose 50, 75 or maybe even 99% of today's valuation, then this thread will have more purpose than trash talking posters that do have trading experience & a pinch of common sense. Why don't you prove to us that bitcoin will not be another .com era company that ended up being a bag of shit?

Nobody has to prove it. It proves itself. It's 12 years from its inception, up some 20 million percent, all metrics are up across the board in terms of transaction volume, wallet activity, wallet creation, etc.

All of the data and proof you need is right in front of you. If Bitcoin isn't your cup of tea, that's fine, but that's a whole other thing. Yeah, it has risks. Surprise.
