Just a side comment...Wedding cakes are bullshit. It's all flowery white cake with sugar frosting. And that fucking weird not-so-lemony flavor, which is no flavor at all. Gross. I think wedding cakes should be dark chocolate multi-layered with devils food cake and lots of dark fudge. After all, marriage is satan. Whoop!
Well, it's much more of a metaphor...for observing, appreciating, the various levels, details, and intricacies of life ..., and trading of the market as well.
Alot of people could learn so much about the market, themselves, psychology and humanity....by not reading or learning...about the market, but by, rather, other things in life.
It's very healthy to expand your right brain, not just your left.

See, that is a bullshit cake. It's so grandiose that nobody would want to eat it. And if they did, it would taste terrible. So what is the point of the cake? A euphemism for waste? Do you realize how many stems of wheat died to make that cake? The sacrifices the farmers made to reap that raw grain to make something that is going to get buried in a landfill because nobody wants to eat it?
