The dude has a reputation of being a scammer. Back when I was selling Bitcoin on Localbitcoins, I remember seeing his name on there and he actually tried to buy Bitcoin from me from a fake paypal account. (I don't know if it was actually him, but he did have the name Bit Boy on there.) And after hearing multiple other sources saying he is a scam, I am 75% sure it was him

A bit off topic but I remember buying through LocalBitcoins oh, about three times before I was able to just connect my Wells Fargo account to Coinbase for a buy fee of maybe 1.5% compared to the 5-10% premium through LocalBTC. My last experience trying to buy there failed miserably. I never looked back. Would be nice though to still have anonymous avenues of acquisition. I wonder how things are going there these days. So many horror stories of Feds hunting down sellers to pin them with some violation.

Try using Bisq. Its an anonymous exchange that is used over tor browser.

And yes, sadly i was one of the sellers that had to deal with feds but thankfully let off with a strong warning... It was so nice to make 3k just to be at the computer for 5 minutes...
