Bit coin mining... can it still be done profitably?

ask how much he pays for electricity, how much he pays for hardware, what's the gh/watt ratio and how he plans to cool the farm.

my dogecoin mining was a failure but the new bitcoin miners i setup (antminer s3) 3 months ago has already broke even and generating profits now.
 
thanks for the help...I turned down the offer last week.
it turns out he does also mine alt coin and says that is why it could be profitable.
the thing that was the deal breaker for me is that he leases the rig in China.
That seemed like it could be a smart idea... but could also be a scam.

altcoin ?? is the process are same goes with btc ? i have couple friend still doing btc mining activity, but based on what i read btc are no longer held a great potential.
do you think altcoin would be much better income then btc mining.
is there any lead, any website for altcoin detailed information.
did altcoin also works as btc in cloud mining process.
