It is part of these people's retirement plan. They know that when their kids grow up they can have their kids (who are technically American on paper) petition/assist in becoming American citizens or even stay here illegally with their children as a legal home base. That is the main power of anchor babies.

The Democrats only think about poor people from south and central american countries. They are not thinking about the Russians and Chinese who come over here and abuse our laws with birth tourism.

Many of these Chinese could care less about the USA. They take over entire sections of California and make zero effort to assimilate. If they rack up any medical bills or face any legal issues they just go M.I.A. and escape back to their homeland. They do not respect our laws.

The US is aging and needs more babies in reality. Diversity will strengthen ties with other emerging economies and promote more international harmony and peace. Rules are in place to ensure people of any nature or background don't abuse the system. If medical bills are an issue that is because your medical system is badly designed.
