In Sweden, at least one parent must be a Swedish citizen for a newborn child to receive citizenship. Should be the same or even more conditional in the US... considering the "social benefits" an anchor child is "entitled" to.

Just keep in mind, I'm from the school of "You are entitled to exactly what you earn for yourself, not one iota more"... That is, "the world doesn't owe you a living", and "make your own way in the world or perish".
