Having a disagreement with folks at work as to whether "Bps" is referred to as "bips" or "beeps"?

They do. But I've heard folks call them verbally "beeps" and "bips". I was just curious if there was a consensus. But it does not appear there is.

It's like the pronunciation of "meme" and "gif", I suppose, everyone has their own version.
