bios upgrade

I ran my computer through a test on this site. They say thay have a bios upgrade available for my motherboard. Is there any reason to do a bios upgrade? Will there be any performance gain.
Its a sis 648 motherboard and a p4 2.4 computer. tia

Only do a BIOS upgrade if your system is not running properly, or you are adding hardware that needs improved BIOS "tweaks".

If it is not "broken," don't "fix" it.

By the way, if you screw-up your BIOS upgrade or you happen to have a power failure while you are in the middle of flashing a new BIOS into your motherboard, you are in a VERY HIGH RISK area of doing irreversible harm to your motherboard.

Like Nitro said, if it isn't broke, don't mess with it!
