Hi,

James, I'd be interested in seeing the signals with a stop layered on them.

I purchased an AmiBroker license a couple of months ago. How about I put together a system with stops and post both the 'raw' signal and the 'trading system' signal?

Kind Regards,

James

That sounds like an excellent idea to me!

I'll be looking for it...

Ok, it's late and I'm probably missing something, but why are you selling 3 cars? Don't you just need to sell 2?

Hi James,

Thanks for posting. Let me see if I understand this, Dakota allows you to create "bots" in VB/C# type language, and specify flocking behaviour, etc, but does not allow you to specify any trade management info at the bot or aggregate system level hence the need for something like Amibroker? Is this correct?

I posted that the system was selling 3 contracts. That was an error, it should have been 2.

Dakota does have trade management functions. I like to use a separate application for trade management so that I can read in signals generated by BioComp Profit as well. Maybe, it is more habit than anything else, but that's what I do.

Kind Regards,

James
