My opinion, from what I saw of the offerings by IG Markets, is that they are illiquid and not fairly priced from our point of view. The spread highly favors the broker, and coupled with the limited payoff, it's not quite useful for hedging existing positions. You're probably better off buying a call or put spread on the underlying.
