We don't need to be a bully, but we should behave in such a way that the world understands, "mess with the bull, you get the horn." China has projected such an image and the world respects it. Muslims seem to believe, "the US is soft.... we can get away with anything on them".

We spent billions billions dollar killing terrorist suspects, nukes would be a lot easier things to do than sending our troops in danger grounds, wouldn't it? A perfect nuclear detonation has very few nuclear fallout than a badly damaged nuclear plant, it has minimum impact to our moral arguments, a suspect is guilty anyway, trust our governments. Nuclear proves separation of powers are inefficient, just cut 3 branches of government to 1 will lead us to fewer moral arguments.
