Wrong. It's more acceptable in Barakistan. 95% of the anti-war crowd is in hiding due to their hypocrisy. We're now in three conflicts and they're nowhere to be found. Well, a few legitimate/consistent ones are still around, but get no media attention (e.g., Cindy Sheehan is still as upset as she was in the Bush administration. I heard her interviewed awhile back.)

Anyway, the whole Bin Laden job was supposed to look like a good old-fashioned action flick, with the the silly "situation room" photos and all, but the details are getting messier each day:

1. For an American President to condone a gangster type execution certainly loses the USA the "moral high ground". It sets a very bad principle that countries can go into other countries killing people. It will no doubt be copied in the years to come and be justified by this deed.

2. I think a quick death was a too easy way out for BL. He should have been captured and brought back for trial. Let the public hear what he had to say in his defence.

USA lost the "moral high ground" many years ago. They will continue to confiscate your freedom via the "war on terrorism".
 
Exactly how should this of been carried out? Should the navy seals knocked on the door and handed Bin Laden a subpoena? Maybe they should of went in with stun guns instead. You guys do know we are at war with the group bin laden is a leader of and you do know people get killed in wars.
 
I had no idea that if they ever caught bin laden they would bury him at sea. I'm sure this was thought out and wonder why bin ladens "capture" options were never discussed with the public in the past.

We had ten years to formulate a plan with his remains or imprisonment yet I never heard any scenario's in the media.
