Someone always seems to be defending pedophiles. Whether it is the church or the Democratic Party. Interestingly, The Democratic Party and their media buddies are fast to accuse Republican politicians of pedophilia on the most flimsy or circumstantial of evidence. However, if you wear blue, pedophilia, racism, misogyny and false accusing is a-ok by Democrats, their army of social media posters, and of course, their news media organizations. Don’t forget to wave to Harvey Weinstein, Christine Blasey Ford, Jussie Smollett, and of course, Jeffery Epstein the next time you see them. Or, if you are so inclined, do more just than wave. Excuse me for leaving this list woefully short as I don’t mean to denigrate the contribution to Democratic ideals of those left out, but I’m in a lazy mood right now.
Two woman on different occasions told me how being molested when they were young affected their lives. One woman was from the Netherlands. Most would consider her quite attractive. She was molested by her dad at a young age. She said in spite of her being molested, she couldn’t hate her dad. She seemed to have displaced her feelings on being molested to spiders, as it was ok to hate them. However, she became involved in drugs and her relationships with men were affected. She handled it well and was very upfront and direct about setting expectations with men very early on when meeting them.
Another woman I met was a Vietnamese refugee who saw her family killed by American soldiers. In a stroke of luck, according to her, she ended up getting taken cared of by another family. However, her new father molested her and over time, his friends participated. She said she was not initially bothered by it. However, when she reached her mid-twenties, she became emotionally devastated. She asked how could they do this to her? This woman came to the US to live out her life here. My impression was her thinking was along the lines of “You helped make my life this way, so here I am”. The effects on this woman includes bouts of heavy drinking and extreme emphasis on nice acts of others, no matter how small.
The two examples I’ve listed above are probably as good an outcome as can be hoped for from being molested by a person in a position of trust. The pain of molestation will last for the rest of these woman’s lives. Those that partner with them are affected as well. I wonder how many suicides and drug overdose deaths are caused by molestation?
I saw some children’s cartoons recently. There appeared to be a sexual undertone to much of this program that targets children. Then again, it seems some of our artists in various forms of media are creative and open minded about a lot of things. Aren’t they?
There are few things more devastating in a child’s life than being molested. Child molestation must not be tolerated for any reason, including protecting political allies.
