I'm a Christian (a bad one), and rarely give atheists a thought. Separation of Church and State is important. We live in a Constitutional Republic. Not a religious theocracy. Imposing Judeo-Chrisitian morality beyond the consent of another human being (Libertarianism), is wrong, imo. The State has no place outlawing gay marriage, drug use, prostitution, gambling etc. These are consensual activities between one or more people. It's their body, let them do as they please. The spiritual consequences are between the individual and God. We all have to face God at the end of our lives, and that's really up to the individual to take responsibility for that. Not the State. Of course, atheists don't believe in God and Judgement, so in their world, it doesn't apply.
What upsets me is the rise of the occult, white and black magic, new age spirituality.
