Well at least I got my motorhome. Can race down to the river and park in the shade. Make me a manual cooling fan through an apparatus I learned to make when I was trained in emergency actions resulting from nuclear war back in the 70’s when many felt we might be blown smithereens, albeit some survivors, back in the days of the MAD THEORY. Can fish and eat wild veggies. Can make water filter out of clay sand and gravel. Boil water if need be. Bath in the river.. yeah I can make it without running water and electricity. Even though my motorhome has refrigeration I would save the generator diesel for special occasions. Question is what will you do over there across the pond? Are you prepared for the days of no power..not running water...no grocery store to spend your money..maybe no money...may all become digital?
I've got whats in my Water Tanks and I've filled the basement with old 2 litre water bottles approx 40litres down there at the moment and adding more as I get new milk bottles, only 10 day supply there for me and GF, can live in the forest and rough camp near running water / mountains if needs be.
Over the Winter, kinda screwed house gets very cold very quickly, stupid daughter when she moved in binned all my sleeping bags and bivi bags that was stored safely in her room, I thought, not until 4 years later hang on, ohhh FFS KIDS!!!
Got 20+ Cans of baked beans can eat cold I guess, not great, got loads of packs of biscuits cheap calories no nutrition mind, going to add cheap squash to add to the water soon / when I make some cash.
