Biil Seidman dies

It's amazing how some guys just keep working all the way until the end. I hope he went out with a bang—in a hotel with 3 escorts, a bottle of Viagra and an ounce of coke. A provision in his will stating he wants to be put in his casket face down so everyone can kiss his ass at the viewing would be pretty cool too.
 
He did a great job with his commentary and was one of few at CNBS that knew his subject matter. He lived to 88, so he got his money's worth.
 
I had the pleasure of meeting him in the early 90's during the S&L bailout.

He had been a vocal critic on CNBC lately at the way the government is choosing to bail out the banks.

He gave a very reasoned alternative which was hard for many to hear because he kept getting shouted over by Larry Kudlow.

A great mind and a decent human being. RIP.
 
I'm a bit shocked as well. He was a frequent guest on CNBC not more than 3 months ago. He seemed to be doing very well for his age.
