I wouldn't consider average-to-good natural genetic potential as mediocre. It is only when it is contrasted with the comic book proportions of steroid users that the comparison becomes stark. Steroids are a game-changer any way you look at it. Personally, I don't care if people use the stuff. I only dislike it when they deny it. Because that's lying, and I don't like to be lied to and taken for a fool. Many people use their non-use of steroids as an excuse for their own mediocrity and hate on users, crediting all of the juicers gains to the juice...which isn't true most of the time.
Agreed, Nothing worse than fake natties. Steroids do provide a major advantage to muscle growth and general body composition improvement...especially when used by people who knew what they were doing.I wouldn't consider average-to-good natural genetic potential as mediocre. True dat. As we age, especially past 50/60, It's the joints and tendons that end up determining your weight lifting routine. The muscle says yes. The wrist, elbow, shoulder, hips, knees and ankles say fuck you.And to think flexibility and mobility is where it’s at. It’s the fountain of youth.
Sure, but mobility rests on having sufficient muscle mass in the face of age-related sarcopenia. And it's the fast twitch that are first to go. Intense resistance training is the best and most efficient way to hold on to them there fibers. And to think flexibility and mobility is where it’s at. It’s the fountain of youth.
I would think one can come reasonably close without making a career of it. Train hard, eat well, and get sufficient rest and sleep. Remember, we're talking about human genetic potential, not the superhero variety. And I agree that it is no small feat for the average person to max out their genetic potential, that would be an incredible feat that rarely happens.
Couldn’t disagree with this more. Many people use their non-use of steroids as an excuse for their own mediocrity and hate on users, crediting all of the juicers gains to the juice...which isn't true most of the time.
