Good to see that both parties can put this behind them and get on with their lives. I'm sure both would have acted differently with the benefit of hindsight.

Alrighty, I guess they forgot to pay the protection money, I mean sponsorship. That fact doesn't really change the more important thing, you provided a sounding board against a company in a matter nobody had any insight and you didn't let them defend themselves. And the particular matter was contract obligations and the possible lack of payment, hardly trading related.
So why let somebody badmouth somebody else in a non-trading matter? That is just not wise. Had it been about commissions or front running, that would have been a different matter, worthy of public discussion since it could have effected other posters.
Now I appreciate the attention and your effort to be always right, but in this matter, morally you were wrong. And how come anybody who doesn't sign up for your point of view has to be working for your enemies?
That is just prosecution complex, plain and simple... I know a decent shrink, if you need one....And I have to say, that you care about my opinion, that deeply touched my heart.

I think so also. The line between opinion and libel can be a thin one. It was the contractor that should have been pursued.
IANAL, but there must be some way to go to court and have something removed from a website after proving it was libel without suing the website. ( I do not think suing websites happens that often or Reddit and 4chan would in court constantly.)
I have mixed feelings about this because I want free speech on the Internet, but I also do not want whoever can afford the best lawyer to control speech on the Internet.
