Well said.
It's so obvious, no one really suspects it.
President for life? Trump says 'maybe we'll have to give that a shot some day'

Trump says supporters might ‘demand’ that he serve more than two terms as president

He's laying the foundation for plan b (Putting 'yes' men in place. Discrediting the media. Restricting the media. Grooming the public).
Plan a is to win the election outright. Plan b is to win by hook or by crook.
The problem gets worse exponentially as the infestation is allowed to continue. Take Barr for instance:
There is talk of holding him accountable once Trump leaves, so, guess what? He now also has an interest in keeping Trump in office ... forever.
If there is to be talk about holding those secret police accountable, or defunding them--or the military once Trump leaves ... Guess what, they'll get onboard as well.
All those who have dirtied their hands stroking dear leader, have a strong interest in maintaining the status quo.
Until/Unless the good majority of citizens place The Constitution above their fan boy obsessions, it doesn't look good.
These are my opinions as to our
current trajectory. Just like a proper market forecast, unexpected news can change '
what would have been.' But you can never prove
what would have been.
I hope I'm wrong on this one. I don't think people realize how vulnerable democracies really are.
