Biden's Six Pillars - Addressing Covid in the U.S.

Ok.... I gotta call out the obvious here as CNBC has Biden on.

He basically just bragged that when he took office only "2M Americans were vaxed... and now there's---- (whatever the number he said)".

I mean.... whaaaaaaaaaaatever. It had only been 2 months.
Is it me? Am I missing something.

And as I type he's saying company's over 100 people are now mandated.

Hmmmmmm.

Know what this tells me....
They're not telling us something.
This ongoing variant stuff has some very smart scientists scared in a big way.
Say what want, but this is a draconian EO.

Where's that post where that one guy said we are heading for the end of times starting in October.... ?

Let’s see, the vaccine just started being produced when I took office, look at how good my vaccine numbers are compared to my predecessor. Doh!

We shuttered business in the name of “flattering the curve”. 14 days going on 18 months. As States finally reopen....”Look at all the jobs we created!” Doh!

Never would have thought Spain and Germany would be the one’s with the common sense. Their Supreme Courts have barred employers from mandatory vaccines.

We’re living in the twilight zone.

Absolutely. He's not going to knowingly cause a public panic but this Mu is going to kill a lot of unvaxxed.

We are largely an "at will" employment country. If you can mandate Fed compliance then you can do so with private employment. The out is "or weekly testing." The costs associated with weekly testing as well as the logistics are inconceivable so private employers will mandate it under "at will" employment laws.

UC Law dropout. I only made it to three Const. Law classes (but all Obama's).
The first thing I checked when I heard that lol....
was $ABT.... they have the cheapest and most reliable test kit out there. Quick test. I think it's $12 last I looked. The stock is up $2 ah's here.... and trust me.... that's a big move for this dino. In the space of minutes at least.
:D

Sure, it probably has legs, but the majority of employers will simply mandate the vaccine. Employees will rail against it publicly but get the vaxx out of abject laziness. Who wants to be burdened with a weekly test? They will lie like jem and say they will risk it for personal freedumb.

Get your booster when available. I am going to my concierge doc for a booster when I get back from LV.

Yeah I know, I was looking for a quick reactionary trade... you know, one of those hold for 5 minute after hours and f the idiots deals.
ABT will pull back.... I have watched this stock for 20 years lol... its an elephant... I'm sure their test kits represent .001% of the top line.

You making up a rule that people who dont come work dont have to be vaxxed :)

Because it makes sense. If an employee is not engaging in activities the rule applie to then the rule doesn’t apply.

The broader rule will work because the testing is lawful. Remember when the aca was defended in court as a mandate under the tax code - that was a mandate by coercion. This broader testing rule is the same legal principle. You’ll see.
